I am Dalia Lakuria

I think the main goal of healthy politics is to work for the interest and welfare of the people. Talking about the political motives of the opposition, opposing any mistake, and any decision of the government which is against the country and public interest. On the other hand, the main responsibility of the ruling party is to take the development of the country forward by solving the problems of the people. However, the current government is far behind. I think the nature of political leadership should be liberal, not narrow. Political personalities must be creative, sensitive, not harsh. At the same time, politicians should consider state power as a deposit of the people. Because state power cannot be a means of gaining its own influence, glory, or prestige. If the politicians deviate at any stage, they have to acquire the mentality of leaving the state power. It is important to remember that the word "policy" is associated with politics, The policy is some standard rules and regulations. And since the day I wrote my name in the book of politics, I have been practicing ethics. Because politics is the best way to serve the country and the people. My main purpose and thought now is the welfare of the people and the country. And with this purpose, thought and the mentality of the right ethics, I will move forward on the path of truth and justice by putting the interest of the people above all till death, and I will continue ignoring all kinds of fears, greed, and lust, inshaAllah.

আমি ডালিয়া লাকুরিয়া মনে করি সুস্থ্য রাজনীতির মূল লক্ষ্যই হচ্ছে, সাধারণ মানুষের স্বার্থ ও কল্যাণ নিয়ে কাজ করা,। বিরোধী দলের রাজনীতির উদ্দেশ্য, সাধারণ মানুষের হয়ে কথা বলা এবং সরকারের ভুল-ত্রুটি এবং দেশ ও জনস্বার্থবিরোধী কোনো সিদ্ধান্তের বিরোধিতা করা,। অন্যদিকে সরকারি দলের মূল দায়িত্বই হচ্ছে, সাধারণ মানুষের সংকট সমস্যার সমাধানের মাধ্যমে দেশের উন্নয়নকে এগিয়ে নেয়া,। কিন্তু বর্তমান ক্ষমতাসীন সরকার তার থেকে অনেক পিছিয়ে,। আমি মনে করি রাজনৈতিক নেতৃত্বের প্রকৃতি হতে হবে উদার-নৈতিক, সংকীর্ণমনা নয়,। রাজনৈতিক ব্যক্তিত্ব হতে হবে সৃজনমুখী, হতে হবে সংবেদনশীল, কঠোরমনা নয়,। সেইসাথে রাজনীতিবীদদের রাষ্ট্রীয় ক্ষমতাকে জনগণের আমানত হিসেবে গণ্য করতে হবে,। কেননা রাষ্ট্রীয় ক্ষমতা নিজেদের প্রভাব, বৈভব বা প্রতিপত্তি অর্জনের মাধ্যম হতে পারে না,। এমনকি কোথাও কোনো পর্যায়ে কোনো বিচ্যুতি ঘটলে ঠিক তখনই রাষ্ট্রীয় ক্ষমতা পরিত্যাগ করার মানসিকতা রাজনীতিবীদদের অর্জন করতে হবে,। মনে রাখা দরকার যে, রাজনীতির সঙ্গে "নীতি" কথাটা যুক্ত আছে,। নীতি হলো কিছু আদর্শ নিয়ম-কানুন,। আর যেদিন থেকেই রাজনীতির খাতায় নিজের নাম লিখেছি, সেদিন থেকেই নীতি-নৈতিকতার চর্চা করে যাচ্ছি,। কারণ রাজনীতি দেশ ও মানুষের সেবা করার সবচেয়ে উত্তম পন্থা,। দেশ-জাতি, মানুষের কল্যাণই এখন আমার মূল উদ্দেশ্য ও ভাবনা,। আর এ উদ্দেশ্য, ভাবনা এবং সঠিক নীতি-নৈতিকতার মানসিকতা নিয়েই মৃত্যুর আগ পর্যন্ত জনগণের স্বার্থকে সবার উপরে স্থান দিয়ে সত্য ও ন্যায়ের পথে এগিয়ে চলবো, এবং চলবো সব ধরনের ভয়-ভীতি, লোভ-লালসা সহ সকল অশুভ শক্তির রক্তচক্ষুকে উপেক্ষা করেই ইনশাআল্লাহ,।
